At Crossjoin, Being a Best Workplace Symbolizes Excellence and Commitment
We are very proud to say that Crossjoin has been listed as one of the best companies to work for since 2021, and as such has been awarded by Great Place to Work ever since. It’s been 4 years of excellence, commitment and dedication from all members of the company with the aim of creating a great working environment.
What is the GPTW?
Great Place To Work is the global authority on workplace culture, present in Portugal since 2000. For 20 years, they have been monitoring employee experience and leadership behaviors with the Trust Index and the Culture Audit.
Their consultancy helps companies improve their culture and increase employee motivation, boosting revenue and market leadership. Training and recognition plans are based on direct feedback from employees.
They drive companies forward with their SaaS methodology and platform all over the world, and recognize companies with the most sought-after Certification™ on the market and the Best Workplaces™ list, the most contested by companies worldwide.
Criteria for a Company to be Certified
- Minimum Employee Count: Have more than 10 employees.
- Achieve the Sample: Reach the minimum number of responses required. The sample is a statistical calculation carried out for each company according to its total number of employees.
- Trust Index Score: Obtain a Trust Index© (average of the 60 statements in the GPTW® Model©) greater than or equal to 65% (on a scale of 0 to 100%) in the employee survey.
- Complete the Culture Brief©: Provide information about the company of a quantitative nature, such as its legal structure, demographic breakdown of employees, and benefits.
Crossjoin’s Journey with GPTW
This year, Crossjoin was awarded 5th place in the Best Workplaces for companies with 101 to 200 employees. More recently, in June, we won 2nd place in the Information Technology category.
What is Best Workplaces?
Best Workplaces is a global certification that recognizes organizations with excellent working environments. To do so, it uses employee satisfaction surveys and human resources policy assessments to highlight companies where employees feel valued and motivated. This certification not only enhances the company’s reputation but also attracts and retains qualified talent, reflecting a commitment to employee well-being and development.
Criteria for the Best Workplaces Award
To be eligible for the award, competing companies must meet the following baseline requirements:
- Be already Certified™ by Great Place to Work.
- Have more than 20 employees.
- Complete the Culture Audit© dossier to be audited by the GPTW team.
- Outperform competitors by obtaining the highest score when weighting the Trust Index© score and the Culture Audit© assessment.
What Are the Main Differences Between the Two Awards?
Great Place to Work and Best Workplaces are certifications that recognize excellent working environments but differ in their specific focus and approach:
- Great Place to Work: Focuses heavily on trust and organizational culture. It uses specific methodologies, such as the Trust Index© and the Culture Audit©, to assess internal relationships, leadership behaviors, and trust within the company.
- Best Workplaces: Covers a broader, comparative assessment of overall employee satisfaction and human resources policies. It considers a wide variety of competitive factors across the market to identify and rank the absolute best companies to work for.
